This book tells the story of a rather unsavory character who engages in all sorts of "bad deeds," yet somehow leaves the reader feeling exhilarated

The protagonist of this book is Yi Chen, who, after being framed, is abandoned by his sect and has all his cultivation abilities stripped away. He eventually arrives in London, England, striving to become a figure of patriarchal status. Along the way, he encounters the traitor from the Holy See, Jester, the Phil brothers, Feili, the Kane troops, and Chekhov. Initially, he unifies the underworld of London and then becomes involved with the Dark Council. Due to his grievances with the Chinese Daoist sect, during their entanglement, Feili is severely injured. After feeling heartbroken, Yi Chen leaves Earth to save Feili, eventually making his way to the Immortal Realm and the Divine Realm, where he ultimately confronts the final boss, Hongmeng, and somehow absorbs him. Then, the group returns to Earth, completing the Ascending Dragon Path.
